During 2025, Fevia Lab analyzed approximately 1,000 samples in the chemical department and around 5,000 analyses were performed in the microbiological department. Fevia Lab is a top laboratory located in Vaasa. Our laboratory operations are guided by a quality management system that guarantees high-quality and reliable analytical results. The Finnish Accreditation Service (FINAS) has granted our testing laboratory (T074) the accreditation (accreditation requirement SFS-EN ISO\/IEC 17025).<\/p>

Fevia Lab started operations as early as in 1966 in Vantaa. The laboratory’s operations were moved to Ostrobothnia in 1975 and for the past 22 years Fevia Lab has been located in Runsor in Vaasa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1995 the business itself looked quite different from today. Our days in the laboratory were very hands-on, whereas automation and digitalization has changed the job description over the years. Our focus back then was mainly on the feed industry, while today we have a broader customer base. Nowadays, cattle and swine producers as well as the grain industry form a large part of our customer base.<\/p>

Fevia Lab’s location in the countryside is a clear advantage for the industry.<\/p>

Our geographical location benefits us, and clearly our multilingualism is a great advantage. We work in Finnish, Swedish and English, meaning that our market is not only regional and national but also European.<\/p>

The team at the laboratory today consists of laboratory technicians, and of chemistry and microbiology experts.<\/p>

Our team is knowledgeable and flexible. When customers need us, we always show up. We follow a SFS-EN ISO\/IEC 17025:2017 based quality system, which guarantees our reliability. We have automated processes to a great extent, and thanks to the digital development, the customer has superior access to fast service. At the same time, we care a lot about our customer contact and we invest in our customer service. It\u2019s very important for us to be able to tailor services according to our customers needs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
